Not quite alone

"Computer please insert today's startdate and start recording."

The Computer beeped in acknowledgement.

"My holiday to Betazed didn't exactly go quite as we planned it to be. My mother was very much forthcoming to our perils and we were assisted with our problem given that Grayson and I bonded and it hadn't quite gone right. Much to my relief though because in all honestly, I had expected my mother to show us the door. Especially, after I took off when I was seventeen and never really got in contact with anyone but my youngest sister."

Tyrion paused, drawing in a deep breath as he watched Dania play on the floor with some stuff toy she'd been given.

"Somehow....after a few days, my mother insisted we get married, then and there, on the spot. Grayson agreed, much to my relief so well, to everyone's surprise we returned to the Galileo as a married couple. Sadly our happiness was of short term as Grayson's been reassigned to Earth. Effective immediately and there was very little time for goodbyes. I don't know what to think or do now, with my husband being taken from me without much advance notice. Of course we can remain in contact through subspace and I'm quite sure that we will. But it gives me the distinct feeling of being alone...again..."

He sighed. "Especially in these quarters...they had me move out from the room I shared with Piet, since department heads have quarters of their own, and don't share.... even though I have Dania, and I do love her as if she's my own, which I suppose in a way she is though I never saw her get born, or held her since she was a newborn. I'm still alone... I hope one day Me and Gray get to be reunited but until then..I'll just keep a picture of him on my night stand, and one in my living area. I already miss him so much..."

With a final sigh, Tyrion saved and ended his log, and went to sit on the floor and play with his infant daughter.
