Chapter 16: The Search for Prince Charming

After moving in with her sister, helping her friend the Blue Duke by pretending to be his wife, and getting threatened with a lightning ray by the mean green witch, the beautiful doctor princess began to get lonely. Sure, she had her sister, the intelligent princess scientist, but she longed for a Prince Charming to come and take her away.

She tried the Knight, but he was too busy chasing after the Dark Queen to return her affections.

She tried the scientist, but he just wasn't into her.

She even tried the priest. But he was too devoted to the church to be her Prince Charming.

Just when the beautiful doctor princess was starting to think she might be alone forever, the Blue Duke brought in a handmaiden who had hit her head for the beautiful doctor princess to take care of. While the beautiful doctor princess was healing her severe concussion, it was the handmaiden who saw in her eyes that what she was looking for wasn't out there somewhere but right in front of her all along. Prince Charming wasn't some guy out there waiting in the wings to come take her away. The Blue Duke was her Prince Charming all along!

And, with the help of the handmaiden, the beautiful doctor princess resolved to find some way to make him realize that--

"Tuula, are you working on those children's stories of yours again?"

"Yes, Jaana," replied Tuula. Somehow her sister seemed to always interrupt her just as she was making good progress with her writing. "Now where was I... Oh right, the Prince Charming!"
