I'm in Love

"Computer, insert stardate and begin recording." The computer beeped in compliance as the Betazoid leaned back in his seat.

"My life took on a rollercoaster ride," he started, "and I think I'm in love now. It scares the hell out of me to be sure, because of what happened the last time I admitted to loving someone."

A brief pause.

"Let me start at the beginning....Doctor Voutilainen thought I needed to get out more, and dragged me off to this gaybar on the starbase. I met with a few people but they were all taken until I met this very big, and very handsome and kind Bolian named Kot. One of Doctor Mott's brothers, and I'm actually a little scared to know what the doctor thinks of this... Anyway, we spent most of the evening together and we finally ended up in my quarters. Except, beyond just some hugging nothing really happened, because apparently...Bolians are toxic to non-Bolians, without medications that make them feel worse for wear. Now I wasn't going to allow my date to feel crook, so we never went anywhere...."

Another pause, and the sound fo a deep breath being taken.

"A few days later, I met the sweetest El-Aurian I've ever seen. The only one to be honest but that aside. He seemed lonely, and after a few drinks, i went home with him, and I spent the night. More than that, actually, because well..." An embarassed chuckle. "...he ended up being my first...I mean, first man to ever be with, sexually. It was great though, he was very gentle about it and uhm...well...Doctor Voutilainen said I had sprained something due to too much sexual activity? I didn't even know that was possible."

Another sigh.

"My roommate found out about this and was mad at me..I tried to stop him from clouting me in the head by accident, and he shoved me through a table. That's when I found out about the sprain, after the doctor was called. Im not sure I'll see Oren again...we do serve on the same ship but well...I'm actually hoping to see Kot again. I find...I miss that big Bolian! So .. I'm going to find out if Kot's still around on base, and say goodbye to him before Galileo pushes off towards her next mission."

Sigh.

"...Computer, I think I'm in love! End, and save log."
