Well, Computer. Out of my shoreleaves this has been the one that I feel...has been most relaxing. Perhaps it has been not going very far away, or maybe because Carus was here. I know, it seems silly that it matters and I shouldn't really care that much...but being able to go out and see him without planning weeks ahead, it felt...nice. Easy.

Alexion has also been around. It has been...exceptionally nice. Like everything is slowly coming together in a way I have never experienced before. We will see how long it lasts. I try not to be too optimistic about things. That can get out hurt after all.

We are having an inspection soon. I am not that impressed, I would rather just get back to work and leave. Instead, we have to dress up and go through the motions, wasting valuable time and productivity. But clearly, we are now considered an important ship. Why is beyond me, it is a small science vessel with a taste for trouble. And that is why I would rather work so I can try and anticipate the new storm of trouble coming out way.

Regardless. Shoreleave has been nice. Nicer than I thought. But there's only that many books you can read before you start going slightly insane. It has gone on for too long. No. It'll be nice to get back to the fun and games of regular work.

Computer, end log.
