Well, that didn't end well.

I saw Tuula earlier today at breakfast. She introduced me to her boyfriend. Well, "introduced" may not be the right word. They were really going at it in the mess hall there... it was quite the show.

He's quite the character. A little older than her; a former Marine. And from what I understand, he's the jealous type. Very protective of his girl. The guy had me quivering in my boots. A boyfriend from the Marine Corps was a little complication that I didn't anticipate.

No matter. He can't be around all the time. With patience, I'll have my chance.

Hmmmmm, perhaps I need a change of strategy. In the Great War on Bolarus, direct attacks on the Southern Alliance bore no fruit; it was only when the Confederation landed in Nabatt, the soft underbelly of the Alliance, that they were able to achieve victory.

Perhaps it is not Tuula that I should be approaching, but Jaana. I heard today that she was on board as well -- and that the twins are roommates. Maybe I'm going about this all wrong... If I can get to Jaana, maybe I can use her to get to Tuula.
