"Computer, begin recording." Alex said aloud as he tapped a button on the PADD beside him before sticking his head back into the guts of the sensor suite he was working on. "I'm almost down doing the upgrade on the sensor network that the Captain asked me to do in the impromptu staff briefing she got together.... They've been... interesting? To say the least I guess."

Pulling out a microfilementer, Alex slowly altered the range of the sensor grid. "I mean, shit, she asked me to alter the sensor grid to detect a range of subspace that there is only one antenna capable of detecting in the entire Federation that I know of. I have no idea if this will even work... but.. I have to try... I have to make it work. We are trying to get those people we lost back." Alex let out a sigh as he finished up.

"Computer, run a scan of the upper subspace bands. Test the current sensor modifications please." Alex said as he pulled himself out of the guts and leaned back on his knees.

"Working." Came the cool reply of the computer.

Turning his attention back to the PADD, Alex continued with his personal log. "I've been having more memories from Ezra bleeding through as well... It's probably just the stress, but most of the memories that are bleeding through are ones from her combat training, her experience, and msot of her borg knowledge.. So Im not entirely sure they are bleed through, but Ezra herself trying to help me."

With another sigh, Alex ran a hand through his hair. "No one ever taught me about the memory bleed through, or even how often it happens, how intense they can be... Sometimes the ones that get through scary me. Most of the time they are useful though, like the ones I've been getting the past few days."

Alex was interrupted by a beep from the computer. "Scans complete. Significant subspace transmissions detected near the edge of the detectable range."

Alex grinned to himself, "Excellent... Time to get things moving." Collecting all his tools up, he hits a button ending his personal log.
