No. Just no.

240 words; about a 1 minute read

"Computer, begin log."

"I can't handle this for much longer. Those creepy little bastards are crawling all over the ship, guarding us to make sure we don't try anything clever. As if we could actually escape right now."

Victoria laughed mirthlessly and shifted on her bed, swinging her legs up and curling them underneath herself. Her head rested on her palm and her PADD sat on her lap.

"I hate them all. They've already killed too many of us, and now we have no command crew; they've been assimilated. And to make matters worse, they haven't assimilated the rest of us yet. That's the most terrifying part of all of this; it's so out of character for them and I'm scared. What could be more important to them than assimilating us? Why are they doing this? Why won't they just kill us?

"Computer, pause."

Victoria moved her hand up to her mouth and choked back a small sob. It's like Peter all over again. She chewed on her lip for a second and called out to the computer once more.

"Computer, continue."

"Something good had better happen soon, or I'm going to explode. I've been so close to having another attack for so long, that it's starting to really worry me. The last time the Borg attacked us, I came this close...

"Okay, I need sleep. I just can't do this right now. Computer, end log."
