Chief Engineer's Log.

It's my first day aboard Galileo and we've already faced a potential warp-core breach, an attack by the Borg, and that's all after I narrowly escaped the Borg after they destroyed the engineering section of a Galaxy Class.

The team here is small. Smaller even than what we had aboard India. They're also really good at their jobs. I shouldn't expect any less, but you never know how things will turn out. An incompetent team member is bad most of the time, but it's even worse in a team of six.

So I guess it's lucky that everyone here seems to know their job. Chief Quinn is heading to the bridge now to man the engineering console there. Ho's got a lot of experience, and I could use him down here, but he's more valuable where he can give direct advice. Especially if comms go down.
