First Officer's Personal Log,

The Galileo has arrived in the Rojar system - one of the first Federation vessels to do so, albeit with the protection of a Galaxy class starship towering over us just in case it turns out we are not quite so alone out here.

Being so close to Borg space is enough to put me on edge - I have these repeated feelings that a cube is going to come hurtling out of orbit of one of these enormous gas giants with it's eyes firmly locked onto us, although I'm hoping these are just my feelings acting out of sorts rather than some sort of premonition.

Science missions arent something I particuarly look forward to doing however - I am no scientist compared to some of our experts aboard this vessel, I'm far more at home on the firing range than in the laboratory. That said, I still have to a duty to do to this ship and her crew and I intend to do just that.

Let's see how this one goes shall we?

Computer, end log.
