"Well, I have been many things on this journey since leavng Akkadia many years ago. Still, I never thought to be back in an actual command position. The stint on the Firebird was a brief one and I welcomed going back into what I loved best at the time which was medical.

Now having been second officer for several years, once more I have been offered and accepted to step up to the second officer position.

This will be another change and I can't help but wonder what else might be coming down the line. That reminds me, it has been a very long time since I have been back home. I have not kept up as much as I should have.

Akkadia still is much the same, and so far we have steered clear of most of the political ramifications that continually seem to rock the galaxy periodically.

We are so far out now, I may never see the place ever again. Still I look and hope the Twins will still send their blessings my way as this new adventure unfolds.

I sure hope this all works out.
