The shakedown cruise appears to have been successful. Once we return to the station for deployment elsewhere, everything will be ready.

While all is fine, there is a nagging doubt, something at the edge like one glimpse, but when one looks at it, there is nothing there.

Perhaps it is the long hours. I work two full shifts. The pace is getting to me and the call to rest and forget responsibilities sounds like the best prescription I could write for myself currently.

While I am thinking about it, I think I am going to recommend to the captain some leave for the entire crew. Between this shakedown and the previous problem with the cold station, we may have strained the mental faculties of the entire crew.

Well, I think that is it. Maybe some sleep will help with this odd feeling. Just overwork.
