Binariaelia

It's the ritual every El-Aurian experience once they reach their 200th birthday.
I guess you can say it's a coming of age sort of ceremony many cultures have.
It is a very personal, very fulfilling ceremony that purifies the body, and advances the mind.

I have participated in this festival for so many others in my life, I was really looking forward to my own. Then the Borg came.

*Sigh*

Since the destruction of my homeworld, I was convinced that I'd never would experience it for myself.

When I told Richard about it, and what the ritual entails, and for my first birthday as a couple he spoke the Highfather blessing.

*Soft chuckles*

He was always like that, wanting to know all about me. That night, I remember he whispered in my ear, saying how he wished give me that ceremony. It was then I knew I wanted him as mine and we married a month after. I loved that man.

*Clears throat. Sharp breath*

What happened in Sickbay... I was there, they performed the ritual to me...Richard was there.

But there was something else about it all. Something more than just the Binariaelia.

El-Moira, I was on El-Moira. Our sister planet... where the "Observers" left for. I forgot all about this world, I forgot it exists... and that is what shook my core the most now.

If El-Moira exists, escaped the Borg and is still thriving, the El-Aurian people, me, would have a home.

Computer end log.
