Personal log, Petty Officer Donald Andrews

It’s finally done, finally I can relax. The warp core is restingly nicely after a good in depth maintenance cycle, it certainly needed it, first time it has been switched off since we fired it up to leave Avondale, still miss that good old shipyard occasionally but it’s certainly more exciting to be out here in space . The engineers here at Regula aren’t too bad but the bosses would push us out the airlock if they found out we weren’t supervising them, so supervise them we must and I drew the shortest straw though the chief popped her head in fairly regular.

I’m looking forward to some time off the ship, Constantin invited me to meet him at one of the bars on the base, I know we spend a deal of time together because we’re roomies but it'll be good to let off some steam with him and maybe talk about something other than work for a change and it’l be good to see some of the crews from the other ships we’ve been travelling with see some new faces, I bet a lot of people will be breaking out their finest civilian clothes and no doubt some of their…. most interesting ones, should be fun.

End log.
