So, now that we're back home on Earth, I've got plenty to do. See family, visit a medical conference, get a neck tattoo... lots of stuff.

Tomorrow, I'm going to see someone about Raven. I've tried to activate her program, but to no avail. I've heard he's one of the best when it comes to holo-technology. I really hope he can help her...

Sigh.

Ever since the destruction of the Galileo, I've been thinking about those critical moments during the evacuation. I had time to save one holographic personality file. Why did I choose Raven and not Shirley?

Was it because Raven was my design? Because she looked like me? Because I knew her better?

The first rule of triage is to put your personal feelings aside and save who you can. Do what you can to maximize the number of patients who survive, regardless of who they are. But in a situation where you have two patients, who have identical prognoses and can only save one, what do you do? How do you decide who lives and who dies?

Sigh.

I made my decision. I left Shirley behind. Now, I have to live with that...
