Major Lamar Darius exited the interrogation chamber that held Galileo's first officer and began to walk down the hallway towards the next room in the long sterile corridor. His neck and hands were slick with the Trill's blood, and no doubt anyone in the entire cell block could have heard Stace's deafening screams while he and the EMH had tortured her for the past two hours.

He had a busy day ahead of him and the next prisoner he needed to question was apparently a young woman by the name of Abbey Wyatt. At least, that was her stated name. Lamar would be sure to find out exactly who she was and what she knew while also having a bit of fun in the process. Or maybe have fun first, then ask questions. He wasn't quite sure yet.

When he approached the entrance to Abbey's cell, the two guards standing on either side of the entrance nodded curtly towards the major and opened the steel door.

Darius stepped into the dimly lit chamber and took notice of the slim woman hanging from the ceiling in a similar fashion to Stace. This one, however, appeared Human at first glance, and he walked up towards her.

Abbey was still in pain from already having being kicked, shot and then dragged under protest to this very table, she remembered vaguely having received some crude medical attention which only numbed the pain but she knew one thing for sure, she had lost her ability to walk. She was regaining consciousness from a short nap when she could hear the presence of another person coming towards her. "Where am I!" She asked not attempting to break the shackles she was in for a third time.

The back of Lamar's heavy hand struck her across her jaw. "Shut up! I ask the questions here, you understand?" It was important to establish his authority...it would be a long session if she kept interrupting him with random nonsense.

Abbey let out a shriek as a tear developed in her left tear duct "WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME YOU ASSHOLE!" She screamed, now pulling at all her restraints wishing she could break free and tea the eyes from her attacker.

He sighed and folded his arms across his chest before tilting his head to look intently at the thrashing woman. "So you're gonna have a temper tantrum now? 'Cause we can do this the easy way...or the hard way. Your choice."

"Like I have a choice, I heard the screams, you're an animal and whatever used to be human about you has long since dissipated" She said turning away from him her tear that had formed escaped and ran down her cheek.

"State your name, rank, and serial number," he instructed, ignoring the insult she had just flung his way. He knew he was more Human than she could ever be, and the fact that she served aboard a vessel with aliens was proof of that.

Still facing away from the man as much as she could she decided giving that much information would hurt her well being "Abbey Wyatt, Crewman Juliet November-753-24582 She replied, the pain from her leg beginning to show a presence again.

"And what is your purpose here in our universe?" he proceeded to ask. "Invasion? A preemptive reconnaissance mission? Or some sort of covert espionage operation?" The second was probably much more likely, in his opinion.

"Our mission!" She laughed, "We wasn't even meant to be here!" She laughed again but ended up coughing with specks of blood litering her tunic. "What do you want me to say? We were sent here to destroy to spy on you! No matter what I say I doubt you'll believe me!"

He let out a deep chuckle and the edges of his eyes creased with amusement. "You mean for me to believe that you 'accidentally' came into our universe and 'accidentally' arrived at the exact coordinates of our staging outpost?" He laughed even harder at the notion now that he thought about it even more. What a crap excuse for the obvious.

"Let's try again," he said, this time pulling his long serrated K-BAR from his belt and wiggling the blade in front of her face. "Why are you here?"

Abbey's eye widened as the sight of the blade caught her eyes, "We're a scientific ship, were minimally armed and possess no danger to you why cant you see that! There's not mission damn you!" She screamed.

Shaking his head at what he now had to do, Lamar wished that his subjects would just cooperate. It would make his job so much easier. "Is that what you call subterfuge these days? 'Science'?"

He reached forward and took a strong grip of the front of her uniform, then quickly raised his knife and cut the fabric in half down the front of her torso. He peeled apart the sides to expose her bare skin and bra, then, with a flick of his blade, cut the clasp and pushed it aside to reveal her nude chest.

"Not bad," he commented with a smirk as he looked her over and began his humiliation techniques.

She couldn't even begin to describe the anger that coursed through her, only one man had seen her like this... Naked until now and even more so she felt more rebellious, more hatred towards someone than she had ever felt before. The cold air of the Station ventilation's system cut through her exposed chest only embarrassing and angering her more and in turn increasing her resolve. "You sick son of a bitch! Is this the only action you get huh! I bet your momma must love you!" She spat.

Lamar looked at her with a sideways wry grin. "I already told you...we can do this the easy way, or the hard way. You made your choice," he explained, then grabbed her wrist and forcibly held up her hand. He took the blade of his knife and pointed it towards one of her digits.

"Let's play a game. For every bullshit answer you give me, I will take one of your fingers. Sound fun?"

Abbey bit down on her lip hard trying to hide any sign of fear but he knew it was clear through the wide beady eye's that she scared "Please... Please don't, what can I say to convince you! I'm a scientist's mate for crying out loud! I help with projects by cleaning and filing documents I've never even been on the bridge!" She pleaded watching as the man held the her wrist.

He held the serrated edge of the knife against her index finger and looked into her eyes. "Why is your starship here in our universe?" he repeated with a dead-serious and dangerous glint in his dark eyes.

Abbey felt the cold harshness of the blade and prepared herself as much as she could "We were never meant to be here" She said through gritted teeth. The pain to follow would be nothing to anything she could have thought off.

As much as he hated to do it -- though he would never externally show any sign of weakness during a session -- Lamar knew there was only one good way to get answers with an uncooperative prisoner.

Gripping the tip of her finger tightly, he slashed down against the soft flesh and deep into the digit's bone, then sawed upwards to cleanly sever it from her hand within seconds. Spurts of dark red blood began to squirt from the stub and sprayed his uniform top before he managed to hold her hand off to the side to keep himself clean.

"Don't make me keep doing this...just answer the question."

Abbey let out a ferocious scream as she felt the burning and then the numbness void of where her finger should have been "STOP!" She screamed again the pain burning through her tenfold. "I DONT KNOW ANYTHING STOP PLEASE STOP!" She screamed again the blood pouring from her open wound.

He shook his head, this time with frustration at her stubbornness and refusal to cooperate. Why some prisoners decided to resist, he would never understand. Perhaps it was a matter of principal? If it was...it was a very costly method.

"Describe your vessel's technology. What is your weapons compliment and sensor capabilities? How many crew do you have on board?" he continued. Maybe shifting to a different set of questions might induce some answers.

She cried out in pain trying to gain a cohesive though "Nova Class deep space science vessel a crew compliment off.. I, I dont know" She said truthely "Our sensors are... Federation standard" She lied not telling him off the modifications they had made.

This time he took a hold of her thumb and grasped it firmly while bringing his bloodied knife back up to it. "You expect me to believe that you -- a 'Starfleet' person -- doesn't know how many of your fellow crew serve on your ship? And what does 'Federation standard' mean?!"

His blade sliced through her thumb even more quickly than the last finger, and the detached stub fell to the floor with a sickening wet slop.

The sickening feeling boiled inside of her gut as the stub which was once her thumb hit the floor blood squirting from now two wounds, she was loosing it, loosing the very thing that was helping her through this. Hope, hope she's escape hope he's stop but fear... Hopes worst enemy was slowly engulfing her. "Pl-please sstop" she slurred tears now freely strolling down her face, the cold bitterness of the mans breath harshly attacking her bare chest. "I c-can't".

"Yes you can. Just look at me and focus on my voice," he said to her in an eerily calm and collected voice. "I don't want to keep hurting you...just tell me what I need to know." The good 'ole good cop-bad cop routine was now on full display, but Lamar really did not want to keep mangling her hand if he could help it.

"I will ask again." This time he repeated the two questions slowly for her. "How many crew are aboard your vessel.? What type of sensor and weapon systems does your starship have?"

Her head rolled side to side before she gained a cohesive through "One-Hundred normal crewman" She said between belated breaths "two high-power science sensor pallets" She cried out wishing this was all a bad nightmare. "Type Eight Phaser Banks and Photon Torpedoes" She sipped on what little air she could take in "Is that everything?!" She asked pleadingly.

Interesting...now he wanted to know more about these sensor pallets. The ragged blue-collared uniform she wore indicated she probably knew a thing or two about the technology, and he decided to prod her further. "What are the specifications of your sensor arrays? Range and spectrum?"

"I cant tell you any more because don't know" She replied to the man, already giving more than enough information, at least in her mind. "I need medical attention, please stop" She pleaded with him once again.

"Were your sensors able to detect our cloaked station? Is that how you discovered us and why you landed on the far side of the asteroid...to try to conceal your recon mission?" he continued, ignoring her request for a doctor. She was bleeding quite badly from the open stubs on her hand, but he estimated she had at least another few minutes before a tourniquet needed to be applied. "What type of data did you collect about our operation?"

"No" She murmured the pain becoming a mild sensation which she could begin to control if she didn't move to much... which she couldn't due to the restraints.. "We were damaged because... because of the transition from our universe to yours. The asteroid was a place for us to carry out maintenance. We didn't even know you were here until you ambushed us."

He scoffed at her words and shook his head. "Lies, all of it. You would really make this a lot easier on yourself if you would just tell the truth," he added, now taking another finger from her bloodied hand and holding his knife to it. A quick jerk with a slicing motion cut off her middle finger which fell to the ground next to her thumb and index pieces.

"F--K!" Abbey now swore pulling at her restraints "I have given you everything I know and you still wont believe me! Maybe I should lie" She cried tears once again starting to roll down her cheek though the pain only a mere measurement of what it felt when the first finger dropped. "Do you get some kind of sick pleasure from cutting of helpless woman's fingers?!" She screamed this time.

"You have a lot more fingers left. And toes, too," he pointed with his blade towards her feet. "This might be a looong and painful day for you if you don't start cooperating."

A laugh, that's what escaped her lips next an actual whole hearted laugh. "Well..." She started shaking her head still pulling at the restraints "Its going to be a long day for both of us" She became loose and settled into her restraints and smiled accepting whatever what was about to come of her, not accepting defeat but accepting no more fear.

Lamar smirked at her, not quite sure if she really appreciated the gravity of her current situation. And also not sure if she was prepared for the surprise that was waiting outside for her. It would no doubt give her pause to reconsider, he assumed.

Walking back to the cell's door and opening it, he motioned for the woman outside to enter and make her presence known. The corporal outside probably had a few special things in store for the prisoner.

Entering Abbey eyed her counter part on the table, finger stubs bleeding and her face taught with surprise "Hello... Abbey" She said almost flirtatious teasing "I've waited for this moment a long, long time..."
