Confidential Log

Galileo is not in good shape. Although I can do some work on the computer systems, I am not of much use in the actual repair process. I am certainly not a typical engineer. My training is much more specialized than many Starfleet engineers.

I have found relatively few breaches of protocol in the last day or so. While there have been some, they have mostly been the result of exhaustion. I do recommend that officers be required to get at least eight hours of sleep, even during high-stress times in order to function at their highest level of efficiency.

I am keeping my eyes open for any inconsistencies.
