"Computer, begin log."

"I don't know what to do. I've been programmed with fifty gigaquads of data on taking care of children, but this... it could be five million gigaquads and it wouldn't make things any easier."

Raven sighed deeply. "The Galileo... it's been reported missing with all hands. No one knows what happened to her, or to any of the crew after it disappeared from the Nimbus system. Without warning, or any distress calls, it dropped off of long range sensors about a day ago. No one knows if they're alive or dead."

"All those people... Tuula, Min, Copper..." Raven's emotional subroutines were overloading as she tried to choke back tears. "I know I've only been active for a short time, but I can't bear to lose them. They were like family... Tuula was like a mother to me, and Copper..." Raven sighed longingly. "He was just so cute."

"And the children. What will I tell Revan and Delon? Am I going to have to tell them that their father is dead? I wouldn't even know what to say, and I don't think I can even bear to tell them... it would break their little hearts."

"Please... I hope they find them..."
