The Line

I know things.

I know things that can help.

I know things that can make even the most emotionless Vulcan shiver with fear.

I am bound by laws to a Nation that has fallen centuries ago, a line that I had set for myself.

The secrets of the Galaxy were told, the unknown is known, but to share would be more damaging to a race than anything one can imagine.

The Universe is like an ocean wave. You can be told how to surf but that doesn't mean you can. It is better to learn for one's self, and that's why the line is important.

There is one more thing I know.

One day, I will cross that line.
