Summary

corridors.jpg

Corridors are the main means of transportation between different sections of the ship. They connect all areas of the vessel together using turbolifts as a means to travel between decks. Small and narrow, these paths wind around in semi-circles through the ship's primary hull and in segmented rectangular paths through the secondary hull.

Description Twisting and winding throughout the ship, Galileo's corridors are narrow and tight, a necessary design element to accommodate the vessel's small size. All corridors are lined with three sets of lighting; standard white illumination from the bottom, alert lighting in the middle, and ambient lighting from the top. The floors are lightly carpeted and insulated with an ergonomic gel which relieves the pressure and stress from long walks around the ship.
