View Award - Geneva Peace Ribbon
This ribbon is presented to individuals who were responsible for attaining a peaceful resolution between two conflicting parties.
The recipient may either be single-handedly responsible or have played a large part in the negotiations. The conflicting parties do not have to be Starfleet. The Geneva Peace Conference was a milestone in Terran diplomacy. Sample posts are not required, but a detailed description of the events for which the award is being sought for is. (Level 2 submission)

Without Ban, the entire conflict between the Kreanans, Klingon Empire, and Galileo crew would not have been resolved. Though he didn't orchestrate the terms of peace, he was instrumental in getting those opposed to such actions to put aside their prejudices and do what was in the best interests of all. A model Starfleet officer through and through. |

Awarded for the excellent management and peaceful resolution between Galileo's crew and the Le'kt during their first contact mission. After Galileo was assaulted by the Borg under the control of the Le'kt, Blake not only stepped up to the plate when the CO and XO were out of commission, but also led a successful first contact mission and subjected herself to 'exploration' all for the sake of peace and understanding between the two factions. |
