Personal History T'Paaru is the daughter of two Vulcan Starfleet instructors and was raised in San Francisco, Earth. Growing up, she balanced her Vulcan heritage and culture with the mostly Human culture she was exposed to via school and friends.

T'Paaru always knew she would go into Starfleet rather than the Vulcan science Academy. She had never lived on Vulcan and while they would holiday there occasionally to ensure T'Paaru was still in touch with her roots, it was understood by her parents that she would not be the sort of Vulcan they were.
Starfleet History T'Paaru enlisted into Starfleet when she was of age and went down the Security track. She served on several larger ships before being transferred to the USS Galileo.
