| Physical Description | Naime is fairly tall by Farian standards with light red hair that is thick with curls and she normally wears it tied up in a bun. Years of work on the dirtier kinds of jobs have led to her putting little care into physical appearance and her hair has a tendency to look messy and her face is never made up. She has a brawnier build than most and has light grey eyes, rather pale skin and carries herself confidently at all times. |

Personality & Traits
| General Overview | Though it can sometimes appear otherwise, the often dour Naime does love the company of other people almost as much as she loves the systems she works in. From her early life onward she has always enjoyed being in crowds, spending late nights chatting away with friends and most of all complaining about every possible thing. She can be loud and boisterous and maintaining camaraderie with others is something that has always come easily to her despite (or maybe because of) a slightly abrasive personality. Naime is also incredibly proud - of her people, her home, and her team. This has got her into trouble on many occasions and she can, under the right circumstances, be provoked to react violently to slights on her work or that of the other crew. She can be stubborn, speaks plainly and is honest to a flaw. |

| Strengths | In terms of her strengths Naime is an overall competent engineer and team leader with significant knowledge of engineering systems and how they function. She knows how to interact with her team to build camaraderie and listen to their concerns. She is very protective of the NCOs under her watch and is a strong leader. She also keeps physically fit, and is a strong fighter in traditional Farian boxing styles. |

| Weaknesses | However Naime also has several weaknesses. She is not good at managing her anger especially when provoked. She specifically has trouble with real alcohol and does not have a good handle on when enough is enough. Her stubbornness is also a weakness and she has no problem speaking out of turn if she feels so inclined. |

| Ambitions | Naime has without doubt been considered an ambitious person. Since joining Starfleet she has aggressively pursued leadership positions believing herself to be the best representative of her coworkers. |

| Hobbies & Interests | Naime's primary hobby is music. She plays a Farian double reed instrument similar to an oboe - the one she played as a teenager she kept with her all throughout her years in Starfleet until the untimely loss of USS Trial. Though often when playing in ensemble pieces with Starfleet musicians she will switch to the oboe or bassoon as required (though not without bitter complaint about the homogenising nature of human culture). |

| Personal History | Born in an industrial city in the permafrost of Farius Prime's arctic Naime was not destined for the easiest of childhoods. Before she could even walk her mother, a member of the Orion syndicate, disappeared and so Naime was raised primarily by her father, an engineer for one of the city's industrial complexes. Though they lived in a very poor area their means were bolstered by syndicate payouts as the surviving family of one of their operatives. During her earlier school years Naime was far from a good student. Like many of her classmates she cared little for education and frequently truanted to play with her friends on the icy streets. As she became a teenager she found herself bunking off less to play and more to help her father at his work. It was during these teenage years that she picked up a knack for fixing things and engaging with such machinery as the engineering systems that she would come to love in later life. After leaving school Naime took a job working in a mine that specialised in Holmium isotopes. She took well to the work and formed fast friendships with the rest of the team she worked with. Her ambitious tendencies and protective nature saw her soon taking on roles within the miners union and within a few years she was leader of her local branch. Being aggressive in industrial negotiations made her popular with her colleagues but not so much with management and during a period when rumours were circulating on Farius of a potential strike she had a couple of friendly faces from the syndicate call on her during the night. Soon after she was running as fast as she could out of Syndicate space and she found working passage on a mining vessel. Naime did well as a space miner however after a couple of years and a particularly heated 'debate' with a superior she jumped ship in Federation space and signed up with Starfleet. |

| Starfleet History | USS Laguerre 2380-85 Naime's first mission was a long one, a five year deep space mission of science and exploration aboard the Nebula class USS Laguerre under Captain Khachaturyan. It was here Naime's ambition propelled her onwards as she proved herself not only an invaluable engineer but a popular and right headed individual; a combination that saw her quickly climbing the ladder of promotions. A couple of years into the mission she found herself heading up the matter-energy systems team. The mission was not particularly eventful but that doesn't mean she wasn't kept on her toes and she found herself commended by Captain Khachaturyan on more than one occasion. Starbase 147 2385-87 As assistant to the chief engineer of this monstrously large starbase Naime was able to put her leadership skills to work once again with an expansive team serving under her. In terms of work her record for this period continued to show her as a model Starfleet engineer however a couple of incidents also show up on the record where her conduct was less than what would be expected of a representative of Starfleet. A couple too many drinks at the bar, a couple of civilians ending up in the infirmary, a couple of nights spent in security. USS Trial 2387-92 Though the responsibility of being a CPO and having a large group underneath her had been something that clicked with Naime staying in a single place hadn't suited her all that well and when USS Trial under Captain Hiroshi Tanakata was bringing on new engineering staff she transferred to the ship. During her time on Trial she formed close bonds with the crew and as the CPO in engineering also formed a critical part of the ship's engineering and operations structure. After four years of relative comfort on Trial the crew set off on their ill fated voyage to the Pleiades Cluster. After the battle of Latari Naime found herself a bit lost, many of her friends and colleagues hadn't made it out and their losses weighed heavily on her. After the survivors reached Regula I she found herself reassigned to Galileo's engineering department. |

| Medical History | In 2382 while aboard USS Laguerre Naime contracted an alien parasitic infection which left her bedridden for two months. It also left her with anosmia which though not directly detrimental to her work it did lead to a period of depression later that year. |
