The auxiliary shuttlebay is a small hangar where shuttlepods and maintenance craft are launched, received, stored, and maintained. Similar to the main shuttlebay, the auxiliary bay is equipped with a tractor beam emitter in order to help facilitate the landing and departure procedure.

Description Located on Deck 3 above and in front of the main shuttlebay, Galileo's auxiliary shuttlebay is a dedicated area contained within aft section the main cargo bay and is capable of housing up to two small craft. It is currently home to the Brunel-class workpod Celeste as well as the Type 15A shuttlepod Pisa. The auxiliary shuttlebay's space door is located at the very aft end of the cargo bay.
