Weekly Update

Evening, team! I'm finally back online and all caught up after an unexpected password delay. I've got some short but important information to relay to everyone, so please take notice of our upcoming events.

First, Episode 11 will be beginning one week from now, on Thursday the 17th. This means that MD 22 through MD 81 are now closed in EP10. Please do not start any new JPs on these days but feel free to continue writing and posting any already-started works. MD 95, the final mission day of our shore leave mission, is now open for writing, and all crew should be reporting back for duty aboard Galileo as we prepare to depart Jupiter Station.

Please use this announcement as an official two-week notice for the closure of EP10. We will be closing the shore leave mission on Thursday the 24th, and any pending JPs will be moved to the new active one and will have to be adjusted to the new timeline accordingly. There will also be a short one-week overlap period during which both the new mission and the old one are simultaneously online -- more instructions about this transitional period will be provided this weekend and it shouldn't pose any hiccups for our posting schedule.

February's crew awards have been announced and once again we'd like to publicly congratulate Bryan who has won OF's Character of the Year award. His writing is always fantastic and it's great to see him finally getting the recognition he deserves for his accomplishments.

We haven't had any new players join us in the past week but we have one prospective member who I hope will find a home with us. We are also on the lookout for an assistant chief flight controller before we begin our next episode, so if any of you have friends who you think would enjoy the position and our sim's adventures, please send them our way!

That's all for this week. Please check the Yahoo list for some updated LOA notices. A few people are a bit busy right now with RL matters and will be taking a few days off to take care of things. As always, feel free to poke either Tom or myself if you are unsure of a player's activity status.
