Weekly Update

Good evening/morning Galileans!

This week's update will be brief yet eventful. First, we have two new players who just joined us. Please help me welcome:

ENS Jaana Voutilainen, Stellar Cartographer
ENS Lia Circe, ACIO

Both Lia and Jaana are returning players who have spent prior time with us on the sim, and I'm delighted they have come back to play with us. If you haven't already, please introduce yourselves over PM or email and begin some JPs with them. Welcome (back) aboard, ladies!

This past week has seen an influx of great JPs and as we move forward and prepare for our new adventure, it's time to close a few lagging mission days. MD 08 through MD 21 are now closed for writing. Please do not begin any more JPs on these missions days but feel free to continue to write and post any already-started works which take place during this period.

Our new mission will be online shortly within the next two weeks, and the preview has just gone up on the website. Please check the Upcoming Missions section of the Episodes tab within our USS Galileo main navigation link for further details.

Lastly, crew awards for the past few months have been processed and posted, and I'd like to once again congratulate everyone on their amazing contributions to our game. Every award is well deserved and I'm very pleased to have so many accolades to distribute. Keep an eye on your character bios in the coming days for the addition of the new ribbons.

A final reminder for the month, February is a short month which means crew's choice award nominations (CCA) and personal logs are due by Monday the 29th. If you haven't already, please begin to submit both of these requirements. All new players who have joined within the past 30 days are exempt from CCA voting if they desire, but any new player who wishes to nominate is welcome to do so.
