Hi gang, I'd like to wish everyone a very happy new year and a prosperous 2014! Last year was a fantastic time for our game and we have even more fun events lined up for this upcoming year.

Many of us are still on holiday E/LOA but it's good to see a few people returning to the game. We even have a couple new players who recently joined us...please welcome:

Congratulations on your assignments and welcome to Galileo! Our little ship is filling up quickly so if any of you have any friends who might be interested in joining, please send them our way sooner rather than later. We're always happy to accommodate our writers, and a list of open positions can be found on our Personnel page.

I'm going to go ahead and open up the next set of mission days now that some of the subplots have been started. MD 11 thru MD 20 are now open to begin writing, and all previous mission days are still open. For anyone who wants to get their character(s) involved in a fun subplot, please visit the Subplot Signup Sheet and PM the subplot's creator for more information.

I'll be doing an official roll call sometime next week to see how many of us are here after the holidays are over, so keep an eye on the Yahoo! list. In the meantime, relax and take care of your hangovers, and enjoy the rest of the week. I have a special new years surprise for everyone which will be announced shortly ;)
