As John said, I'm very pleased with the general level of activity and quality of writing that's being posted. The story is now progressing AHEAD of schedule and has become deeper than I ever planned. :) There are also some good subplots developing which will serve us well on later missions. Please give John and I some feedback on the current state of the sim (likes, dislikes, suggestions, requests etc.) so that we can enhance the game for you.

I have awarded the sim's first promotion to Tarishiana Barel. Due to her hard work, huge post count and contributions to the sim, I would like to be the first to congratulate her on her new rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade. As you may or may not know, player promotions on the Gal are based on IC participation. The more you write and become involved in the story, the faster you will rise through the ranks. Many of you are also due for promotions, and those will be awarded as soon as we complete the current mission. In the meantime, there are many monthly awards to be earned.

As you recently read, our dear counselor has had a horrible accident in her quarters and is now comatose in sickbay until further notice. This means that will be a player character change. LTJG McCarthy will now become a PNPC, and PNPC LTJG Ni Dhuinn will now become a PC. Please visit sickbay at your earliest convenience to check on Dru and wish her well.

This also means that we are in need of a Chief Counselor. Please ask around and help us find a player who is interested in the role and who you think would fit in well with our group.

Lastly, a final reminder, all Crew Choice Award nominations are due by Monday the 30th. All personal logs are also due on the 30th. These are both required and players who fail to complete them will be given strikes.

Keep an eye out for another large JP tonight, we will be moving along briskly as we approach Starbase 152.
