Weekly Update

Posted on 31 Oct 2013 @ 5:00pm by Commander Scarlet Blake

Hello everyone!

Time for our weekly update, one and all. I suppose the first piece of news is this is my first weekly update! Exciting!

Okay, so on to real news:

Our mission is moving along fantastically well. This means that MD 01 and 02 are now closed for posting, and that everyone needs to be wrapping up posts set on MD 03 and 04 as they will soon be closing too.

It's also the end of the month; the moon is high and looming large, the mist descends on the darkened streets, and the witching hour is upon us on this Hallow's Eve......but most importantly, it also means your Crew's Choice Award vote and your Personal Logs are now due. The great thing about it clashing with Halloween is that I now have my own personal pack of Hellhounds ready to let loose on anyone who doesn't get them in!

On the LOA front, Matt (Quinn) will be taking a few days while he gets his computer fixed. Apparently, the ghosts slipped through the veil early this Halloween and are currently playing havoc in his computer's shell.

On a personal note, I'd just like to say that I think this has been a fantastic month for posting. And I mean the writing quality and personal story arcs that have been shown. We've had fighting, facing injuries and moments of helplessness, pulling together as a team, coping alone, stepping out of the comfort zone to cover positions and jobs that were left empty, First Contacts, massive trauma for those assimilated, taking on writing for a species as iconic as the Borg.......just so much going on with character development and exploration that has been written and expressed so well. You've shown that you are truly a special group of writers.

That's it for this week! Let's keep the JPs rolling!

And remember...keep locked up safe before midnight when the werewolves howl and the ghosts wail; and don't let the Borg zombies bite!

~ Blake
