I didn't come to Starfleet expecting such a wild ride. Like, really. So far I've met so many interesting people! There's Nesh, commander Blake, commander Tarin... and Sofie! Sofie's on the Galileo and I didn't even know till a few days ago! Sweet! Looks like this assignment's gonna turn out pretty awesome!

Commander Tarin's pretty hard-nosed. I suppose that's fine. It's dangerous out here and you gotta be tough to survive out here. But hey, I think it'll pass soonish, once we've had some time to rest. Well, the crew, at leaat. I've had more rest than them, technically. She's just one aspect of this ship, though, and I can't wait to meet the rest!

I did hear a lot of stories, though. Scary stuff. I suppose every ship goes through scary stuff, but this was pretty bad even by those standards. I suppose I'm going to find out what that's all about eventually, but until then, I'm gonna remain optimistic. You can't ever go wrong with that!
