Marisa sat down at her desk for a moment of quiet contemplation. So far, there had been no major problems, and everyone seemed to be getting along. She knew it wouldn't last, but for now, she could appreciate it.

"Computer, open log."

She waited for the computer to beep it was ready.

"It's been three months since the ship left space dock and so far it's been smooth sailing. The aquaponics lab is performing above expectations. Each shift has had one meal of fresh fish and sea greens. The herb garden has a dozen varieties of plants, and lab rotations have been scheduled to everyone's satisfaction. Even Petra is doing better. I don't see her much, but she doesn't seem to be as angry as she was when we left Kreanus. I can't blame her for that. I was pretty angry myself. But I think I've gotten over the worst of it."

She got up and replicated a cup of cinnamon tea and sat back at her desk. "Computer, resume log." She took a sip of her tea. "On a personal note, I've ben spending time with Luke Wyatt. I can honestly say I've never been happier. He's one of the most amazing men I've ever met. I hope...well, I hope that the relationship continues to develop."

She sat for several moments, sipping her tea and thinking of Luke. "After a year of not doing much, I'm dancing again. I found my old holodeck program and I've set it to learn belly dancing. It's something new and I'm enjoying learning new techniques. I wasn't sure I wanted to come to the Galileo-A, but now I'm so glad I did."

She finished her tea and recycled the cup, thinking over the events of the past three months. Was there more she wanted to put into her log? She wasn't sure. No, she decided. She might write it down, but she didn't want to put it in a log. "Computer, end log."

She looked at her desk, then at her door. She really should go check on lab 3. Later, if she had time, she'd work on learning the language of the aliens that built the pyramid on Pleione. Or maybe she'd see if Luke was free...
