Tour - Torpedo Launching System
Summary

The ship's torpedo ordinance is regulated and deployed through this main system, a combination of several different sub-systems and compartments. Both launchers, forward-firing, have individual launching systems and separate ordinance magazines. Each sub-system can be accessed by the crew despite the fully automated process.

Description | The torpedo launching system is composed of a torpedo storage room, internal torpedo tubes, and the external launchers. The entire process, from loading and arming, to firing the ordinance, is completely automated. USS Galileo currently employs the Type 6 pulse-fire torpedo tube designed for smaller starships. It allows sequential torpedo launch in a rapid-fire configuration. |
