Sandoval has jumped right into a complex mission with some great character development and unique NPCs. She's put a lot of thought and effort into her characters which definitely shows when they interact with some of the more established characters aboard the sim. Great job! (Awarded for January '17)
Unsung Hero Medal Unsung Hero Medal
Awarded 22 Jun 2017 @ 12:16pm
Nominated by Ambassador Soral Varro
I would like to nominate Charlie and the Sandoval character for the unsung hero award. Sandoval was one of those characters, in this mission, who went above and beyond. She was always there to help her crewmates out and protect them and she supported the medical department throughout this entire storyline. She was always there, always had something to add and did it in such a humble manner. Nice writing Charlie! --Kat

For November, I went looking to see who was the most prolific. Writing the most posts is not that important, but it does provide an indication of involvement. I thought I’ve been pretty involved, for the two completed so far and the several still being worked on. But when I looked at Charlie’s work for November, I found 4 separate posts. A couple of these were too long and had been broken down into parts.

Activity and involvement aside, I found the writing for Lt. Sandoval to be very clear, creative, and engaging. After reading over 3 of the posts, which I very much enjoyed, again. It was the type of writing that I try to emulate. Creating a post or short moment in time is one thing. But, writing so that it draws the reader back for more . . well that is what I found here.

I’m even more now looking forward to working on the post with Charlie.
