| Personal History | Jemima was born in the island of Oceana on New Jamaica. She spend much of her childhood gathering food or fishing with her cousins. As she got older, she learned how to weave and sew. It was a simple life, but Jemima was curious and often spent her evenings reading about other worlds on the net. When she finished school, she applied to Starfleet. It took her two years to be accepted, but she used the time to study more and to get a two-year degree in general science. In the Academy she focused on science, but has yet to settle into any one discipline. She has plenty of time to decide while she works on the Galileo. |
