Gregory an enlisted man and his wife had served on Earth-Based projects within in Starfleet which allowed them to raise their sons in Hudson, New York. It wasn't until the birth of their third son, Andrew that both were reassigned to the USS Tiberius. By then, Oliver was nine. Oliver was tutored by his parents and attended the ship's school. He had a growing aptitude for Ship's Operations that by the time he was old enough to take the entrance exam, his parents thought he would become a Star Fleet Officer like his grandfather the late Oliver Harkness.

It was a surprise to them and the crew that Oliver chose to follow his father's footsteps and enlist.

ENLISTED ACADEMY YEARS

At the Age of 18, Oliver enlisted into Star Fleet with the intentions of becoming an Enlisted Operations Officer like his father. Howver, by the suggestion of one of his professors, he changed his field of study to command mid-through his first year. It proved to be the best decision as he learned he could adapt to any situation easily and delegate well.

While at the Academy, Oliver became a mainstay at the gym often found there lifting weights and also, helping others for various conditioning tests. Oliver was a member of the Academy LaCrosse and Rugby clubs in his two years at the Academy.

Starfleet History Yeomanships

Oliver Graduated from the Academy and entered his first internship as an Aide-de-camp for Sergeant Wilson Ragar during the Battle at Chaldin III. Though, Oliver loved being his family, he left Tiberius when Kelly was named Commodore and CO of Starbase 223 two months prior to his assignment to Galileo.
