| Physical Description | Amon is a reasonably tall man, with strong features and dark blond hair. His eyes are grey, although at times they look more blue under the light on a starship. He wears his hair longer when he can get away with it. | General Overview | Amon is a man with a certain slyness that has served him well in his career. He isn't afraid of making the hard decisions, but is also a warm man who enjoys working with people. In fact, he will most likely be the one to call people together for drinks after a shift. He isn't too serious when he is around other enlisted, yet he is professional around officers up to a point. He isn't very good around people who do not have experience with security, more because he finds them difficult to keep in line. He has a firm side to him, usually seen when he is on duty, and he is very protective to the younger people in the department. He can be very pervasive and charming, something that has defused more than one potential dangerous situation in his time. | |

| Personal History | Amon Mormon was born in England, on Earth. He was the first son of Robin and Tyra Mormont, successful and powerful manufacturers within aerospace mechanics, as well as influential within politics. Amon grew up knowing full well he was the oldest son and therefore the default heir to his parents' success. His brother, Baron, was born when he was four years old and Amon felt protective towards him from the moment he touched the screaming baby. He would keep protecting his younger brother as he grew up, even when he knew that he was only getting himself into trouble. Amon was active as a child, and relatively smart...although his skills were never in books, more with the physical, which frustrated his father to no end. He started fencing as a young teenager and was very good at it, winning several medals. Yet when exam results were low, nothing Amon did in his spare time could please his father. And when Amon finally failed in science at school, his parents turned their back on him as an heir and instead started grooming the more academic Baron. Amon pretended he did not care, because he loved his witty bookish brother, yet it cut him deeper than he liked to admit. |

| Starfleet History | When Amon was 18, he enlisted in Starfleet. It was 2372 and he was young and idealistic. He became a member of Security, only a crewman, but one who knew the rules inside out and believed in them. He was warm and playful too and generally got on well with the others. During the war, he served on the USS Leeds, one of the ships that survived. The war taught Amon that he was good at his job, and that he didn't fear death as much as he thought he would. Rather, he feared the loss of freedom. After the war, Amon slowly started to climb up the enlisted ranks. He was learning to keep a level head and while he never lost his bravado and jokes, he was becoming more and more professional. In 2387 he was made a Warrant Officer, having by now 14 years of experience within Starfleet. For him, it was a big deal. His parents, of course, had by now retired and his brother had decidedly cut all strings back to him. Starfleet was all Amon had now and he embraced it with all he had. In 2389 he was transferred to the USS Galileo to serve there. |

| Medical History | During the war, Amon was involved in a hand to hand fight that saw his nose broken and four ribs broken. It punctured his left lung. He was healed from the injuries. He has suffered an electric burn on his right hand after a minor accident on the USS Veracruz, the scar was healed. |
