Personality & Traits
General Overview | Muldaur is efficient, calculating, and detached. His movements are quick and mechanical. He walks upright, never slouches, and spends a great deal of time catering to his appearance. He is arrogant, vain, and an infinite narcissist, but is by no means boastful. His ego is communicated through his actions rather than words.
Strengths | Muldaur is excellent at reading body language and behaviour. He can adapt himself to fit almost any situation. He is an incredible liar and is a talented actor, as well as an operatic. He is far removed from his emotions, enabling him to commit himself to nearly all situations without observable consequence. He has powerful convictions that drive him, to which he is unwavering. He had considered theatre early in life, but was dissuaded by a realisation that his skills would be more useful serving and protecting the Federation.
Weaknesses | Muldaur's lack of emotional of consideration sometimes leads him astray from moral repercussions; life means little to him if it conflicts with his convictions and perceived duty to uphold the values of the Federation. He is unable to form meaningful relationships.
Ambitions | To be the best that he can possibly be.
Hobbies & Interests | Muldaur is consumed by his work. He has never taken a holiday in his career. When he does have free time, however, he listens to and sings opera. He also reads Earth's classics and knows Shakespeare like the back of his hand.
Vernacular | Muldaur is typically soft-spoken; his voice could be likened to a late-night radio host of alternative, underground, ambient-like music. Alternatively, it could be described to the hushed tone you'd have with someone around a campfire while everybody else is sleeping. When shouting or speaking seriously, however, Muldaur gets his strength and clarity from his operatic background. People who enjoy the sound of his voice are equally impressed with his shouting. Being from England, his English accent is not as strong as it was when he was young, now being significantly closer to the sound of Federation Standard. |

Orientation | Heterosexual
Language(s) Spoken | English, French, Romulan, and Cardassian |
Personal History | Muldaur was born and raised in Essex, England. From a young age he took an interest in performance and theatre. He usually played the lead or one of the leading roles in school plays and musicals, his favourite characters being villains or tragic heroes. By the time he had reached later years in grade school, he enrolled in a performing arts college. Within a few years, he became an accomplished Shakespearean actor. Because of his devotion to his budding theatrical career, Muldaur's hobbies were few. He enjoyed opera as a boy; Muldaur became involved in his community's operatic society, where he performed regularly at an advanced and professional level. He is uncertain exactly when he realised that his acting skills and performance could be put to "better" use. A fellow student in one of his Shakespeare classes was revealed to have been romulan spy, Muldaur was 24. The romulan came from a family of spies who were masquerading as vulcans. This disturbed Muldaur in a deep and profound way. At the same time, however, Muldaur was impressed that his classmate was able to mislead everyone so well and for so long. During the weeks after the romulan's arrest, the class was extensively interviewed by Starfleet Intelligence. It was during these interviews that Muldaur began looking into the intelligence field, but it was only casually. He was offered to begin training at the academy; the agents that spoke to him saw promise, thinking that he would make an excellent addition to SFI. He declined, but after mulling over the idea for several months, he joined the following year. |
