Weekly Update

Hi All,

me again!!!

It's been a good week so far (not that I would expect any less under my intrepid leadership whilst Jay takes a well-earned break!!! :P)

As most people are now aware we have had to remove our CSTO and a replacement will hopefully be appointed in the near future. For now Dennis (Rhodes) will be acting CSTO until further notice - Jay and I need to put our heads together to decide how to proceed.

Apart from that just another gentle reminder to make sure that we all keep up to date with our tags, especially in the larger team JP's - on a side note we all have to be aware that it is entirely possible with this version of Nova to overwrite each other's work so please take any possible precaution to avoid doing this, ideally by having your notification emails turned on so any updates get sent to you and if you happen to overwrite someone else's work, you can repair the damage!

Equally just a request that no writer ever edit/remove/adjust someone else's writing without their permission - I know some crewmembers do this in certain circumstances but it is not something Jay and I approve of - simply put, don't write as a character that isn't yours!

It's the middle of the month now so we should all start to think about our personal log entries and begin having some ideas for who we want to nominate for any crew awards - these are due at the normal time and as always are mandatory requirements of the sim.

Finally we have a number of NPCs that are currently unattached to any specific player - if you want to take over one of these (see our Personnel page to find out which ones are free!) then please contact me and I can do the necessary work with you.
